Great review. Thank you for a detailed breakdown. I'm looking forward to getting mine this week. I started my gaming experience with the PS3 40GB back in 2007. It finally died in 2015 so I purchased a PS4 and 2018 moved up to the PS4 PRO. Now I'm ready for the PS5.😃

Great review. Ray tracing is a fad. Yes, its nice and helps with immersion and is inevitable. Developers though should focus on new "gameplay" mechanic that have a lasting experience on gaming.

8:45 I hope this is just because the system isn’t optimized or games aren’t optimized but having games like Spider-Man running at a max 60fps at 4K without ray tracing is a bummer. I really do it has to do with optimization because the xbox series x can play COD Warzone at 4K 120fps (not sure about ray tracing) and the PS5 can only do 60 FPS right now. It’d be amazing to get at least 4K 60fps with ray tracing and 4K 120fps without ray tracing in future updates

Have you had any issues copying any PS4 games to your PS5 SSD drive... only game I’m having trouble with is Ghost of Tsushima(Error code CE 100005-6 Can’t copy message comes up)and I was wondering if anyone else was having the same issue...

Still think they should have included Atmos and DTSX codec in the system. There are people out there with AV or Soundbar setups that would have really helped with overall experience

lol watch dogs is not a good example to show off ray tracing. The game is totally unoptimized and broken, DLSS doesn't work properly either! Show some other ray tracing game like Control for instance.

I’m a parent now and the thing I enjoy the most in gaming is catching up with my friends while we play together, so being an early adopter doesn’t really benefit me in this area. Team Xbox with my uni friends and team PS with my school friends. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I prefer Sony’s “Generations” approach, with its subjectively gimmicky controller features, and a fresh interface/UI, I like the feeling of a new, superior experience. As an Xbox guy, I’m able to play a ton of fantastic games I missed out on
